Graphic designer & photographer
San Diego, CA
I’ve always lived a life governed by aesthetics. From picking out shampoo based on its label alone, to having a difficult time eating at a restaurant whose menu showcases a few too many typefaces, design has dictated decisions big and small for as long as I can remember. I can’t attest to this being a practical way to navigate life, but it’s the only way I know. Once I realized there was a career to be had creating the visuals that would play such a large role in the lives of consumers like me, I knew there was no other path for me to pursue.
After getting my degree in Graphic Design at San Diego State University, I immediately went to work at a local creative agency where I remained for five years. My experience there allowed me to dive into so many aspects of the creative process; not only did I function as a graphic designer, but I got to explore content strategy, copywriting, project management, and UX/UI, and eventually established and led the photography and video production department.
I have experience working with large corporate clients in an agency environment, as well as tackling freelance projects for small, independent brands. I’m comfortable bouncing between roles and juggling tasks, or really honing in on one area of a project. I enjoy diving into creative challenges and thinking strategically to present solutions that meet a client’s needs.
They say if you're doing what you love, it won't feel like work. In my case, I love nothing more than working to turn a creative vision into reality. Let's collaborate to make something great together (and have fun while doing it!)
